DELHI CITY STOPOVER WITH AGRA
03 Nights / 04 Days
Day 1 – Arrive Delhi
Meeting and greeting on arrival at airport and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2 – At Delhi (Red Fort remain CLOSED on Mondays)
After buffet breakfast at the hotel commence day tour of Old and New Delhi. Met you local guide and driver at Hotel lobby and commence sightseeing tour. During you visit to New Delhi, Visit HUMAYUN’S TOMB and Qutab Minar, see the government buildings, the President’s House, and Parliament House. Finally, motor through the main shopping district of Connaught Place. Tonight, your Tour Director hosts a lavish Welcome Dinner. During your tour of Old Delhi you will visit to the JAMA MOSQUE, the colorful bazaar of Chandni Chowk, and the magnificent RED FORT, with its red sandstone walls bedecked in marble, jewels, gilt, and inlay and also visit GANDHI MEMORIAL MUSEUM and Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948.
Day 3 – Delhi / Agra / Delhi (taj Mahal remain CLOSED on Fridays)
Early morning meeting at hotel lobby by our representative and transfer to new Delhi Railway Station to board Shatabdi Express train for Agra at 6 AM. Arrive Agra at 8.10 AM. Meeting on arrival and commence excursion Return to Agra and visit TAJ MAHAL, monument to love. The Moghul Emperor Shah Jehan built it as a memorial to his beloved wife Noorjahan, who died during giving birth to her 14th child in 17 years of her married life. Later see Agra Fort, built in sandstone by the Moghul Emperor Akbar, as well as the beautiful pearl mosque, Moti Masjid.
Evening transfer to Railway Station to board Shatabdi Express back to Delhi at 8.43 PM. Dinner will be served on board by the train. Meeting on arrival at New Delhi Railway Station at 11.05 PM and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4 – Depart Delhi
Transfer to the airport in time to board flight for onward destination.
