TAJ MAHAL AND MATHURA
01 Nights / 02 Days

Day 01 – Delhi – Depart for Mathura and Agra
Morning meet your driver at designated place and proceed to Mathura (around 3 hours drive). 

Mathura is famously called as Braj bhoomi and is known as the birth place of Lord Krishna, an important deity in the Hindu religion. Arrive and visit temples and other religious places at Mathura like Shri Krishna Janmasthan, Gita Mandir, Dwarakadhish Temple, Vishram Ghat, Kans Qila.

After visiting Mathur continure on to Agra.  On the way around 10 kms before Agra time permiting stop at Sikandra to visit Akbar’s Tomb (entry closes at 5 PM). 
Arrive Agra and check in at HOTEL Agra - To the lover of art and to the traveler seeking the wonders of the world, Mughal empire for nearly a hundred years from 1564.
Rest of the evening is left free to relax from long and hectic day.   Overnight at the hotel.

02 – Sat – Tour Agra and drive to Delhi
After breakfast at around 0830 hrs. met with your Guide at the Hotel Lobby and along with a car and driver (provided by us) proceed on sightseeing visit of monuments of Agra.
 
First visit to Agra Fort: built by three generations of  Mughal Emperors starting from Akbar the Great in 1565 AD, which is a masterpiece of design and construction. It housed both the residential Palaces of the Royal family, and the military quarters. Across the fort overlooks the romantic Taj Mahal.

While driving back to the Hotel for afternoon rest en route visit the gold thread embroidery workshop -’zari’ work is a form of  weave where the gold thread is woven into the fabric to produce borders and motifs on the fabric used for saris, stoles, scarves, dress material and wall tableaus.

Taj Mahal
! visit to the world famous ‘Taj Mahal’ by ‘decorated tongas’ / battery bus. The inimitable poem in white marble, built over a period of 22 years by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains.
Afternoon drive to Delhi and drop off at designated place.
