Pushkar City Guide
CLIMATE
The Climate of Pushkar is divided in two common seasons i.e. Summer
and Winter. In summer days, April ,May & June are the month of
hottest season but the nights are very pleasant and cool. The
temperature in day of Summer Season from 45oC and 25oC during the
nights. In Winters, ( September to March ) The Climate of Pushkar is
one of the main attraction in increasing the People to Visit
Pushkar. In these Months lot of fairs and festivals celebrate in the
City.
HOW TO GET PUSHKAR
| By Air: |
The nearest
Airport from Pushkar is located in Jaipur and Jaipur is a Major
city in Rajasthan, Due to that Jaipur is well connected to the
Delhi, Mumbai and Other Metro Cities. And also connected with
Udaipur, Jodhpur and Jaisalmer. The Distance will be (Aprox.) 20
Km.

Now the nearest
Railway Station is in Ajmer from Pushkar. Ajmer is also a Metro
city of Rajasthan and having good network of trains that connect
to Delhi, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ahmedabad, Mumbai and other major
cities of the state and country.

| By Road: |
Pushkar City is
well connected to Ajmer by Road. The distance is not more the 13
km between Ajmer and Pushkar. |
Pushar City is famous for its temple and well known as FIFTH
DHAM or pilgrimage. Every Year, lot of tourists and People come
to Visit Pushkar and the Famous Lake at Pushkar. Pushkar Lake is
something in circular shape and there are apporx. 52 ghats nearby
the lake. It is also famous for the Pushkar Camel Fair. This Camel
fair take place at Pushkar City and holds many religious
significance. Generally It is celebrated in the month of November
and It attracts many tourists from worldwide. In this period of the
Pushkar Camel and Cattle Fair, Tourists take enjoy of Rajasthan's
Folk Dances, Camel Safaries and Cultural programmes which is held by
the Villagers.
Pushkar is not famous for only its Fair and Festivals or Lake. Most
of Indians and local people come to visit the temples at Pushkar.
Brahma Temple, Varah Temple and Savitri Temple are the famous
Pilgrimages in the city of Pushkar. Every Temple has his own
history. Brahma Temple relates with Lord Brahma and Varah Temple
relates with Lords Vishnu.
