Cruising in the Maldives offers you the best
of both the worlds. The only chance to see many of the 1,200
beautiful islands of the Maldives, and the opportunity to experience
first hand, some of the world's greatest dive sites. Find out how to
get the best out of your cruise - both ways.
Most of the vessels are equipped with professional diving equipment
and staffed by qualified diving instructors. While some vessels
offer standard accommodation and facilities, others offer luxury
accommodation with all the modern amenities.
The simple life-styles and the unhurried pace of living in fishing
villages make island communities most receptive and friendly to
visitors, so much so that our guests tell us that (The beauty of the
Maldives is more in the kindness of its people that in the physical
features of the archipelago.
In all our cruises, we offer Bonfire Beach BBQ's (Barbecues) on
uninhabited islands. You could enjoy the thousands of stars
surrounding various sizes of crescent moons and special full moon
events would be arranged for those who are lucky to be with us
during the middle of the lunar month.
Further to the opportunity in visiting Island Tourist Resorts, you
are most welcome to visit inhabited islands (fishing Villages) and
choices from hundreds of uninhabited tropical islands. In these
islands you may recognize one thing common, but you'll never get
bored of are; a reef surrounding the island with abundance of marine
fish and fauna, a crystal clear lagoon, white sandy beaches,
surrounding lush tropical vegetation in all shades of green in every
island of this archipelago.
The guests are welcome to join our crew for daytime fishing. Day
time trolling and sports fishing on Maldivian seas reward even the
most inexperienced fishermen/fisherwomen with catches of all
varieties of tuna, jacks, rainbow runners and even bigger ones such
as Wahoos, Marlins, Sail-Fish, Yellow Fin and Big Eyed Tunas. Night
fishing can also be arrange and is much fun, fishing off popularly
known spots for Red Snappers, Groupers, barracudas and other
delicious reef and white meat fishes.
Style is another aspect that you may want to consider before you
make your choice. Some resorts maintain the unique Maldivian style;
thatched roofing, sand underfoot and traditional-styled staff
uniforms among other things, with great care.
While at others you would find the soft white sand on the beach and
of course the typical island atmosphere, but inside, public areas
may be tiled, and the staff uniforms, more formal. In fact each and
every resort is unique in its own way. If you consider the
individual resorts carefully before you make your choice, you would
have no trouble selecting one to suit your taste and holiday budget.
